Slax is a cool bootable Linux OS distribution.

The real thing that stages apart this distro is its software update method. All the software can be added as a module, providing flexibility and avoiding very-tricky and over-technical installations.

Its available in various flavors from full fledged to even server edition. If your are in hurry to have hands on, there is small 5MB version available. This can be well booted off your USB Pen Drive.

One more interesting thing related to this distro is availability to download diff files, this is useful in case you have an old version available and just want to download the changed stuff.

Though, the article mentions to download, syslinux, it is provided with Slax ISO in tools folder. syslinux can alone be downloaded from here.

Yes, I know it is really very late after my last post on 14th March, 2006. I started on Holi and waiting for Diwali. But, I was very much busy with my Project work. Lot things have been changed from that time. Now, I am proud owner of Dell Inspiron 640m lappy. It is really very important to have a Notebook computer as You are not restricted with your ideas only, at any time at a comfortable place you can check feasibility, usefulness, importance of your ideas.

But, from this post onwards, I am expecting to become a smart Blogger with some technical, political, social, informative discussions and cool ideas to share with.
