Booting SLAX Operating System

Slax is a cool bootable Linux OS distribution.

The real thing that stages apart this distro is its software update method. All the software can be added as a module, providing flexibility and avoiding very-tricky and over-technical installations.

Its available in various flavors from full fledged to even server edition. If your are in hurry to have hands on, there is small 5MB version available. This can be well booted off your USB Pen Drive.

One more interesting thing related to this distro is availability to download diff files, this is useful in case you have an old version available and just want to download the changed stuff.

If you are eager to try it. Then here is an article for making a USB bootable drive for Slax.

Though, the article mentions to download, syslinux, it is provided with Slax ISO in tools folder. syslinux can alone be downloaded from here.

Rediff News has always been Refreshing for me. I started reading specifically after July 11 Blasts, where there was no proper information except chaos and rumors. Rediff News was the first to bring some idea about the disaster.
